Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha or the airport. From there, we drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees.

Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day game drive, where you can spot elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species. The park’s unique landscape offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.

In the evening, we will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we set out for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes around 4-5 hours, with a stop for lunch en route.

Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive across the vast plains of the Serengeti. You will have the opportunity to witness the iconic wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras that are part of the Great Migration.

After a day filled with wildlife sightings, we will head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Migration Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti in search of the Great Migration. After an early breakfast, we will set out for a full day of game drives, following the migration paths as the herds move through the plains.

Your expert guide will take you to prime locations to witness the mass movement of wildebeest and zebras, as well as the predators that follow them. You will have a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti.

As the sun sets, we return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s incredible wildlife encounters.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we continue our safari with a game drive as we leave the Serengeti, heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting.

We will reach the Ngorongoro Crater in the late afternoon. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera.

After arriving at your lodge on the crater rim, relax and enjoy dinner with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Today, we descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and hippos, all set against the backdrop of lush greenery and dramatic cliffs.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool and continue exploring the crater floor, one of the best places to spot the Big Five in a concentrated area.

In the late afternoon, we ascend the crater and return to your lodge for a final dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Return to Arusha

After breakfast, we will drive back to Arusha. Depending on your schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Arusha before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible 6-day Serengeti Migration Safari.
